TEAM REASON FUNDRAISER AT STEVENSON UNIVERSITY
Hope you’ll join us Tuesday, October 23rd at Stevenson University Stadium in Owings Mills for the Men’s Soccer Team’s fundraiser benefiting the Ron Smith Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at Hopkins.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. The Stevenson University Mustangs, wearing purple uniforms symbolizing pancreatic cancer awareness, take on the Hood College Blazers.
There is great enthusiasm on campus for this special event. The University’s clubs and organizations have put together some creative fundraising games to be played prior to and during the game.
Those donating a minimum of $5 at the gate will receive a “WIN THIS SEASON – SUPPORT TEAM REASON” tee shirts. Purple Team Reason bracelets will also be available.
We’ll also be honoring Terry Hergen, the mother of Mark J. Hergan, Vice President for Enrollment Management at the University, who passed away in early June from pancreatic cancer.
Our friend, Keith Mills, will be the emcee for the evening and we're hoping to have special guests and a few other surprises.
The stadium holds 3,000. Let’s fill it up, remember Ron and Mrs. Hergen, raise money for the Fund, and cheer on the Mustangs!
Check out the team at www.gomustangsports.com.
Big shout outs to the University, Coach Pleyvak and the Men's Soccer Team!
